Joanna Ericsson & Henric Stillman, StockholmJoanna and Henric started to dance in 1990-1991 with the Swedish Bugg. Later on they also tried other dances like Dubble bugg, Lindy Hop, Boogie Woogie and Rock'n roll. Not only for "fun" but also for competing. In 1999 they became members of the Swedish National Boogie Woogie team. And since then they have stayed together.
With the age of 15 they learned jazz, ballet and modern dance for 2.5 years. In the upper secondary school from 2000-2003 they went to Carlforska Gymnasiet, whose main subject was dance. To learn more of jazz, ballet and modern dancing...
During their life as dancers they have competed a lot but also done a couple of shows for Swedish TV on "Grammisgalan" 2002 and on "Idrottsgalan" 2003. Nowadays, when school is finished they mostly compete for Ebba dance club in Stockholm, perform and teach, as well in Sweden as all over Europe (Herraeng Dance Camp, Sweden; Barswingona, Spain; Lindy on the Rocks, USA), mostly in Lindy Hop and Boogie Woogie but also in the traditional Swedish Bugg. You can find more infos about them here.
They love to dance and their goal as teachers is to give as much material and tips as possible, but also to make students to understand and realise why they are dancing and for whom... Find out for yourself!
